A play by Izumi Kasagi. Three people working at Daikoku Pier in Kanagawa, burdened by unease and futility in their daily lives, find small hopes on the road to the sea and try to reach out to one another.

Centered on people who wake at five in the morning and set out for the sea, the drama brings three voices into resonance. Poetic language and quiet humor connect individual memories with a view across long spans of time.
A collection of plays published by Hakusuisha in May 2025. It contains the title play and Moscow no Umi; the title play received the 69th Kishida Kunio Drama Award.
