Work Information
An award-winning play by Iizawa Tadasu that uses satirical laughter to illuminate postwar social systems and gender relations.
Public reference sources and the Cultural Heritage Online site confirm Nigo as a 1954 Bungakuza production written and directed by Iizawa. The standalone Shinchosha Ichijikan Bunko edition from 1955 predates the ISBN system, but the play is included in Miraisha's Iizawa Tadasu Kigeki Zenshu 1, for which ISBN 9784624911218 is confirmed.
