Published by Sunagoya Shobo in 1997, this is Masako Tsukiji's fourth tanka collection. Selected from poems written after her preceding collection Sagi no Sho, it gathers the natural world of Kumamoto, postwar history, aging, and solitude in language both keen and restrained. It received the 13th Shika Bungakukan Prize in the tanka division in 1998.
