Kami (Paper)
1969 Sculpture / InstallationA work in which a large stone is wrapped in a bag-like sheet of Japanese paper (washi). The contrast between the stone's solidity and the paper's thin membrane exposes materiality and perception.
August 1970: Splitting a Stone

Legacy
