Description
Established in 1976 by Bunka Publishing Bureau to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the launch of the women's magazine "Mrs.", along with the Modern Poetry Women's Award and Modern Tanka Women's Award. It was given to women's haiku collections, selected from those published during the year, and announced in the April issue of "Mrs." the following year. It ended with the 13th edition in 1989.
