Nihon Kinsei Bungakukai Award

Description

The Nihon Kinsei Bungakukai Award was established in 2005 to honor emerging scholars of early modern Japanese literature. It is awarded annually to the author of an outstanding paper published in the society's journal, Kinsei Bungei, provided the author is a member of the society and no older than 40 at the time of publication. Each recipient may receive the award only once. Winners are recognized at the society's general assembly. As of 2024, the award has been presented for the 21st time.
