Description
Public submission award for new writers co-sponsored by Shinchosha and Fuji Television. Solicits long novels in the entertainment genre regardless of subgenre. Judging is conducted by one different writer each year. The winner receives prize money of 1 million yen, and the winning work is excerpted in 'Shosetsu Shincho' and published as a single volume. Up to the 2nd edition, it was held as the 'Shincho Entertainment Newcomer Award', and from the 3rd edition, it became the 'Shincho Entertainment Grand Award'.
