1958年、京都市生まれ。立命館大学卒。校正業のかたわら、「ももたろう」同人として執筆を続ける。1997年、『蝶々、とんだ』で講談社児童文学新人賞佳作入選。 【画家紹介】 1957年、京都市生まれ。大阪芸術大学卒。出版・ポスター・グッズデザイン等のイラストで活躍中。主な装画作品に『ミカドの肖像』『籠目屋倶楽部通信』などがある。
