Description
The Kodansha Children's Literature Newcomer Award is an open call newcomer literary award sponsored by Kodansha, targeting unpublished children's literature for children (original fairy tales, novels, picture books, etc.). It was established in 1959 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kodansha's founding as 'Kodansha Children's Literature Works' and renamed to 'Kodansha Children's Literature Newcomer Award' from the 5th edition.
