平林たい子文学賞
この著者は早稲田を出て共同通信の記者をしながら、丹羽文雄の同人誌『文学者』で小説を書いていた。一度直木賞の候補になったことはあるが、これが唯一の著書で、死んだ母を描いた長編で、妻に口述筆記させて自費出版したら平林たい子文学賞を受賞したので中央公論が改めて出してくれたそうだ。落ち着いた筆致で好感が持てる。
