寿司屋の息子の小6男子が、色んなドタバタを引き起こすほんわかストーリー。 このシリーズの売りは『とっても美味しそうな寿司の描写』だと思います（寿司に限らず。カレーも旨そう）。 ヅケマグロの作り方。干物の作り方。シーフードカレーの作り方。卵焼きの作り方。 ちょこちょこと筆者オリジナルレシピが入っているのもおいしい点です。 我が家でもこのレシピを参考に干物を作らせていただきました。納豆もヅケマグロも作りました。 どれも非常においしかったです。作者さん有難う御座いました！ 4巻以降全く音沙汰がないのが残念ですが、1冊1冊は非常に良い出来で、大学生になってもお気に入りの本です。 小学生の皆さんには是非とも読んで欲しい逸品です。 （エッセイ本の方もとても面白いので、寿司が好きな方はそちらも是非！！）
