The opening sequence follows faxes sounding at a dawn desk and a single-character change in a correction message. War sleeping in public archives, anonymity in reporting, and a reporter after retirement are drawn from concrete work of investigation.
A tanka collection published by Nagarami Shobo in October 2024. It received the 23rd Maekawa Samio Award and the 22nd Chikushi Kadan Award.
