笑いあり、涙あり！
身近なお母さんの死がこんなふうにやってきたら・・・子どもの目で見るその時の様子がうまく書けてると思いました。「ほな、さいなら」っていうの、すごく雰囲気出てる。

ぼくの父親は売れない漫才師。そのために学校でいじめられていた。金髪で暴力事件で高校中退した兄、派手な姉と比べ、小学５年のぼくは、自分でいうのもなんだが、地味な存在だ。母が末期がんで入院してしまい、残された家族は揺れる。 のんきそうに見えていた父が、病院に母を残したまま仕事に向かう姿を見て、悲しいときに人を笑わす仕事もつらいんだ、とはじめて気がついた。母は一番の父の理解者だった。 なんだか、涙が頬を伝いまして、思わず泣けた本も久しぶりだな、と妙に感慨にふけったり･･･。軽い口調で書いてある本でしたが、ド〜ンと心にきます！！
