The Japan Tanka Poets Club Criticism Award was established by the Japan Tanka Poets Club—Japan's oldest and largest tanka poets' fellowship organization—as part of its 55th anniversary commemorative projects, and selects tanka-related criticism books and research books published in the previous year.
