Description
This award recognizes outstanding haiku collections published in the past year by association members. Those who have previously received this association award, the Contemporary Haiku Association Award, Jakotsu Award, Art Encouragement Prize, or similar are generally excluded. Since 1977, a newcomers' award targeting first haiku collections by members aged 50 or younger has been held concurrently.
