Description
Sponsored by the Kyushu Cultural Association Public Interest Incorporated Foundation, and co-sponsored by Fukuoka City, Kitakyushu City, and Kumamoto City, this award solicits works from new writers residing in Kyushu and Okinawa. The winning work is published in the April issue of 'Bungakukai', and a collection of works is published. It has produced Akutagawa Prize-winning authors from its recipients, earning exceptional recognition as a regional literary award.
